This game has always been part of my life. Growing up in Brunswick, baseball and softball were more than just sports they helped shape who I am.
In 2019 and 2020, I served as the Head JV Coach at Buckeye High School. I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Cleveland Guardians youth development program and as an MLB youth clinic coach during the 2019 All Star Week in Cleveland. From 2020 to 2026, I worked as a private instructor and later as a Director of Camps and Clinics focused on player growth and development, while also consulting and coaching with multiple travel programs.
Over the years, I’ve trained athletes of all ages, from 3 years old to 89 years young. Every athlete is different, and that’s what makes this work matter.
I specialize in pitching, hitting, and fielding, but what I truly focus on goes far beyond mechanics. My approach is built on patience, relatability, and compassion. I believe in meeting athletes where they are, not where we expect them to be. I take pride in being an advocate for the neurodivergent athlete and creating an environment where every individual feels understood, supported, and capable.
Before all of this, I served in the fire service and medically retired due to PTSD. The game gave me something I didn’t know I needed. It gave me an outlet, a way to reset, and ultimately a new purpose. Baseball opened doors in my life that I once thought were closed. Now, I use that second chance to help others find their own path.
There’s nothing like watching a player finally believe in themselves. Seeing the moment things click. Watching their confidence grow, not just on the field, but in who they are. That’s what drives me.
At FYV Performance, this isn’t just about training.
It’s about giving every athlete a chance.
A chance to try.
A chance to fail.
A chance to learn how to respond when things don’t go their way.
We fail forward here. We learn how to control emotions, ground ourselves, and work through doubt and uncertainty. Those lessons go far beyond the game.
My goal is to create a space where everyone feels welcome. Where athletes can walk in as they are and leave better than when they arrived. Not just as players, but as people.
This is personal for me.
This is something I take pride in.
And this is something I want to give back to the community that raised me.
If I can make a difference in one athlete’s life, I’ve done my job.
But I’m here to reach as many as I can.
To help them find confidence.
To help them find growth.
To help them find their voice.
